Hi Nova! Thanks so much for being a part of the THREE blog tour! I’m honored to be featured on your site today!
So…do I have any new obsessions other than writing? Now that you mention it…yes! I’ve never been a huge TV watcher, but since I’ve become a parent I’m too tired after putting the baby to bed to do much of anything else. There’s a window of about an hour that my husband and I have dedicated to binge watching one previously-released series after another. We just started (and caught up with) Game of Thrones, which I thought was amazing, even without having read the books (I know, I know!). Although I enjoy all of the characters, I have to say I find myself most looking forward to the Joffrey scenes. That is the scariest kid I’ve ever seen. Watching him is like watching a train crash – there’s a twisted intrigue there, an inability to turn away. When he’s on the screen, I’m equally desperate and resistant to know what he’s going to do next.
I enjoyed Sons of Anarchy, and by that I mean I enjoyed Charlie Hunnam (JAX TELLER – SO HOT), and Breaking Bad (BEST BAD GUY AWARD). I have a current obsession with Newsroom (How is everyone on that show so brilliant?) and of course The Walking Dead (I think we’re all aware how awesome that is). We watched the entire run of Dexter, and I have to tell you that I’m fairly certain Deb (Dexter’s sister on the show) is one of the best female leads I’ve ever seen. She’s such a great actress, and anyone who can use explicit language that creatively deserves some respect. We’ve recently caught up with Mad Men, and while there’s not nearly as much running for your life or kissing as I usually like, it’s beautifully written. Now we have started a show called Banshee, which is the story of a jewel thief who spends fifteen years in jail to protect the identity of his accomplice – his one true love! Only when he gets out and finds her, she’s MARRIED WITH TWO CHILDREN! Oh the drama! I sort of love it. It’s my new guilty pleasure.
So, right. TV binging. That’s my new obsession. Also, apparently being lame is my new obsession, otherwise I would have written about something cooler. I should take up skydiving.
Anyway, thanks for having me! Anytime you want to talk shows (or anything for that matter), find me on twitter or FB. I’d love to hear from you!

Kristen Simmons' fast-paced, gripping YA dystopian series continues inThree.
Ember Miller and Chase Jennings are ready to stop running. After weeks spent in hiding as two of the Bureau of Reformation’s most wanted criminals, they have finally arrived at the safe house, where they hope to live a safe and quiet existence.
And all that’s left is smoking ruins.
Devastated by the demolition of their last hope, Ember and Chase follow the only thing left to them—tracks leading away from the wreckage. The only sign that there may have been survivors.
With their high profile, they know they can’t stay out in the open for long. They take shelter in the wilderness and amidst the ruins of abandoned cities as they follow the tracks down the coast, eventually finding refugees from the destroyed safe house. Among them is someone from Chase’s past—someone he never thought he’d see again.
Banding together, they search for a place to hide, aiming for a settlement a few of them have heard about…a settlement that is rumored to house the nebulous organization known as Three. The very group that has provided Ember with a tiny ray of hope ever since she was first forced on the run.
Three is responsible for the huge network of underground safe houses and resistance groups across the country. And they may offer Ember her only chance at telling the world her story.
At fighting back.

It's weird because it's really hard for me to become OBSESSED with a show but I always watch TV. I just put it on as soon as I get home and then have a party lol mainly because I love having background noise while I'm doing homework and/or writing reviews. Breaking Bad has been getting soo many good reviews though, so maybe I'll have to see if that changes my luck :) Thanks for sharing! <33
