2015 challenges
To be completely honest, I don't know why I do challenges. Each year, I say I'm going to win and each year, I don't. At this point, I'm just going to join and hope for the best! I like to read, so why not?
Story Sprites Round One
Story Sprites is hosted by Great Imaginations. I think it's a great way for me to try new things.
In all honesty, I have no idea what I'm going to read. As far as the squares go, I know for sure I have books that will suit most of them. This is a challenge that's pretty do-able. I just don't know if I'll be getting a bingo or a bunch of random dots all over the place.
Wish me luck! It's my first year doing this.

Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge
Because of my one year hiatus, I've been really lacking in the reading department. Like, I didn't even read 50 books last year! Oh no!This year, I'm aiming for that 50 that I couldn't do. Below are the levels and I'm aiming for five more books. I'm still rusty at the whole blogging thing, due to being gone so long, but goals are goals!
Levels:
- Getting My Heart Rate Up: read 1–5 more books (or 250–1,499 more pages)
- Out of Breath: read 6–10 more books (or 1,500–2,749 more pages)
- Breaking a Sweat: read 11–15 more books (or 2,750–3,999 more pages)
- I’m on Fire!: read 16+ more books (or 4,000+ more pages)
Dusting Off the Shelf Reading Challenge
There are so many books on my shelf for the longest time. I have books from 2013 and it's terrible. So because of that, I feel like this challenge is perfect for me. I mean, I might end up not sticking to it. I happen to have a track record for that, but I'll try my very hardest! For this challenge, we set our own goals and my goal is 15. For me, 15 is aiming really high. Something normal would be like 5 but I'm also a high aim-er by nature. So um... repeat after me: good luck Nova. Try not to fail.
