I feel like authors deserve so much from the readers. I believe that authors are people who really connect with us. It was actually an author who I "sorta" owe my life to. Authors and their words make us feel and they can help us.
In this event, I want to get to know the authors. I’d like to get interviews or blog posts about THEM in connection to their book. Who is the mind behind each author?
For each post, I leave links to connect with the author. Please take the time to use one of those links and leave a message for each author, if you can. It can be towards the book or it can be something as easy as “I love the post you wrote on Out of Time! <33”
Victoria Scott is the author of books starring Dante Walker *swoons*. She's also got a new book coming out at the end of the month! She's taken the time to answer three little questions for me :D
Mini Interview - With Victoria Scott
1. Reminisce about your teenage years!
I had a blast as a teenager.
I was a cheerleader and was involved in a ton of organizations. I went to a lot of parties and concerts (some my parents even knew about), and besides the occasional curfew-breaking, I didn't get in a ton of trouble. I do remember thinking high school teachers were the first to encourage independent
thought, which I loved, and I had a boyfriend for the first year of high school, but not again until college. I did date, a lot, and made lasting friends I'm still in touch with today.
2. Have you found your "Dante Walker"? Tell us about him!
Ha! Yes. I found him the summer before I left for college. He was a true bad boy, with all the swagger to back up his good looks. He was great, for a while. Then his bad boys ways returned and I didn't have Charlie's patience to weather that storm. So I married my "Guy Chambers" several years later. My husband is handsome, incredibly intelligent, and such a softie when it comes to making me happy. I adore him.
3. Any pets? (Please include cute pictures if applicable.)
I have two of the fattest cats the world has ever seen, and I love them to pieces. See pic!
I'm super grateful Victoria took a bit of time out of her busy schedule to write this for me! <3
Thanks for checking out my blog and remember: Be kind to one another. - Ellen

I cannot wait to read "Fire & Flood." I'm waiting for it in the mail, but as soon as it gets here I'm reading it asap! And Victoria is so lucky! She's found what sounds like one the perfect guys left in the world! :D
ReplyDeleteFire and Flood was AWESOME! I could not stop reading. And Guy Chambers is fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not having a very eventful teenage life. :/ I don't do anything other than stay home and read (which is totally better than going to parties and having to socialize, in my opinion). And aww, fat cats are the cutest! I want cats. :( Cats can replace my missing boyfriend. ;D
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, look at those kitties! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteFire and Flood sounds absolutely amazing and I can't wait to read it!!! And I am loving the fat cats. I had a fat grumpy cat growing up and I loved her so much!
