3xA MA: Bethany Crandell

with 22 comments

I feel like authors deserve so much from the readers. I believe that authors are people who really connect with us. It was actually an author who I "sorta" owe my life to. Authors and their words make us feel and they can help us.
In this event, I want to get to know the authors. I’d like to get interviews or blog posts about THEM in connection to their book. Who is the mind behind each author?

For each post, I leave links to connect with the author. Please take the time to use one of those links and leave a message for each author, if you can. It can be towards the book or it can be something as easy as “I love the post you wrote on Out of Time! <33”

Bethany Crandell is a 2014 Debut! WOOT WOOT! Her book SUMMER ON THE SHORT BUS is definitely something to be on the lookout for! Enjoy the post <3

Three Truths and a Lie - With Bethany Crandell

Being interviewed or guest posting on someone’s blog is always a good time. But when the blog host gives me free reign to do whatever I want…well, that’s when things get really fun. Rather than torture you with the details of my journey to publication, or ramble on about the fat hamster that lives inside my brain (he’s my muse--don’t judge), I thought it would be fun to play a game. I’ll tell you three truths and one lie about myself. Your job is to spot the lie. You don’t need to get the answer right to enter the contest, so feel free to include your guesses in your comments. Good luck everybody!

1. I read the entire Harry Potter series in ten days.
2. My hair was patted down by airport security.
3. I prefer paper to e-books.
4. I detest potlucks and buffets.

Sound off in the comments on what you think the lie is! Dun dun dunnnn! And enter the giveaway below!
Thanks for checking out my blog and remember: Be kind to one another. - Ellen

Bethany and her husband Terry live in San Diego with their two daughters and a chocolate Labrador who has no consideration for personal space. She writes Young Adult novels because the feelings that come with life’s ‘first’ times are too good not to relive again and again. Bethany eats too much guacamole, thrives on tear-inducing laughter, and is still waiting for Jake Ryan to show up at her door.

I'm not sure reading the entire Harry Potter series in 10 days is even physically possible!! Unless you don't eat, sleep or pee the entire ten days. :)

I'm on page 52 of Summer on the Short Bus and I can't wait for the main character to realize how great these kids are. I am a sucker for a good summer camp book! :)
