But I wanted to write about my appreciation for bloggers! :)
I was a book blogger before I
became an author. I was drawn into the amazing love that this community
has for books...they were CRAZY for books, and I realized that book
bloggers were
totally my people.
So I started up, not knowing what to do...so many bloggers reached out and helped me get on my feet and showed me the ropes.
I was introduced to TONS of new
upcoming YA books, and it really rekindled my passion for writing. I
sort of became sickly obsessed with the authors who wrote these badA
books...I wanted
to have the life they had, and give other people stories to love just as
much as I did.
So here's my thank you, as an
ALMOST published author...book bloggers are wonderful. You love what I
love, you encourage me, you help me get better, and you nerd out with me
online.

ReplyDeleteThat was so nice :) I don't think I knew that Lindsay was a book blogger before embarking on her puvlishing journey! I've been connected with her on Twitter and Goodreads for at least a year, and she's always been so sweet, open, funny, and overall such a darling. I know how excited she is about THE MURDER COMPLEX -- heaven knows, I am too!! I would love to win a pre-order... fingers crossed!
