Self-Promotion and Veronica Roth Gushing

Allegiant just dropped two days ago and OMG by the time you're reading it, I'll probably have already finished it. (Posts in advance ;P) Do you guys like Allegiant? Have you read Divergent? Are you a superfan like me?

Are you excited for the movie? 

These are all things I wanna know and my answers are all YESSES. Divergent is just so awesome that I'm probably going to go into some kind of slump after finishing Allegiant. It's going to be a Mourning Period and yet, there are going to be no new books... WAHHHH! Veronica Roth is just so amazing like I can't even comprehend how amazing she is. OMG.

Anyway, here are some points about Divergent you may not have known about me.

• I didn't originally want to read Divergent. I thought it was stupid (I was so stupid)
• Divergent was the first YA book I've read.
• I shipped Christina and Uriah.
• I didn't initially like Tris.
• I used to spam tweet Veronica Roth and got a reply... once. #WIN
• I dressed up as Tori for Halloween in '12.
• I've read Divergent about 35 times now and counting.
• I've written a Divergent Song.

My Divergent song is my most proud work because it took so long to write and what it is now, is perfect. If you haven't, you should probably take a minute to listen to the song. Support a fellow blogger and all that stuff.

So this is my way to profess love to Divergent. I actually got approval from Katherine Tegen HERSELF on the song so that's pretty cool. This is basically a song that follows the book. Bonus points to people who can spot a (paraphrased) line that's DIRECTLY from the book. Hint: its after the second verse ;)
