It rhymes! YAY! (Post written on 9/21 so info is probably inaccurate)
This is a continuation of the first "episode" of sorts in my "I've got no reading time" series. To check out the first episode, check here. In this episode, I profess my love for The Vampire Diaries. If you don't like that show or haven't watched it, I totally don't blame you for not sticking around. It's something that I was actually reluctant to watch in the first place so I get it!
Anyway, I'm the type of person where once I start something, I have to finish it in the continuous. Meaning when you've got a show like The Vampire Diaries (TVD) that's been going on for 4 seasons, there are a LOT of episodes to catch up on.
This is a discussion post about TV or even anything in general that makes you go crazy enough to STOP blogging. For me, it's TVD. I started watching it on September 7th and am now on Season 4. There are 89 episodes of TVD in all 4 seasons combined and 2 weeks later from the 7th, I've seen...
...80 Episodes
So I've seen 80 episodes on 14 days. What's that? Like 5-6 episodes a day? What I'm trying to say here is that because of my hobby obsession, I haven't been getting much blogging done. I thought I could handle it, but I can't. And the time that I'm writing this is going to be 1-2 weeks earlier than posting date so by the time someone's reading this, I'll have been caught up.
I'm going to be glad when I'm done catching up but I always watch TV shows with caution cos TVD was a fluke but some shows will make me want to drop everything and stare. All I know is that I can't do that and it won't ever help in the long run.
My question for discussion to you is: do you have a quickly addicting show or hobby or anything that would make you neglect blogging? Am I seriously alone?
With Netflix and Hulu, it's so easy to start watching a show and then just keep watching so that's definitely happened to me. This summer I was late to discovering Game of Thrones and I watched all three seasons in just a week. And then someone told me about The Mindy Project and I thought I would start watching that before the second season started and so I went onto Hulu and it was only going to be having season 1 for the next two days and so I just had to watch the entire series in those two days. I'm a big Vampire Diaries fan, although last season I got a bit sick of Elena, but I think this next season will be good. Oh, and I forgot about 24, which I watched years ago, but all at once. Every single episode is a cliffhanger, so if you're watching it, there's no way you cannot watch the next episode. I think I watched all 7 seasons (this was right before the 8th season) in just a couple of weeks. ~Pam
