Welcome to another idea that I have! This was a random thought in the middle of the night. I thought more on it and made it more original. So, I've got a bunch of authors lined up for you with some epic posts! This'll go on from now till end of March (tentatively) with the third week of March being "week of reviews!". Here is the description of the event:
Definition:
3xA MA = Authors, Authors and More Authors!!
I feel like authors deserve so much from the readers. I believe that authors are people who really connect with us. It was actually an author who I "sorta" owe my life to. Authors and their words make us feel and they can help us.
In this event, I want to get to know the authors. I’d like to get interviews or blog posts about THEM in connection to their book. Who is the mind behind each author?

For each post, I leave links to connect with the author. Please take the time to use one of those links and leave a message for
each author, if you can. It can be towards the book or it can be something as easy as “I
love the post you wrote on Out of Time! <33”
As a person, I'm always thinking of ways to "give back." It's kind of built into me. I don't know how interested in this post, but I'm hoping one of your favorite authors will be featured and you'll learn something new about them! I know we talk to them on twitter, but let's get to know them... shall we?
Note: Close to 95% of these posts have giveaways.
But I encourage you to read the posts, for the author,
not just the prize. Although, the prizes are super cool!
Day One: Anne Blankman
Day Two: Jodi Meadows
Day Three: Courtney Stevens
Day Four: Dahlia Adler
Day Five: Bethany Crandell
Day Six: Victoria Scott
Day Seven: Julie Kagawa
Day Eight: Elisa Ludwig
Day Nine: Sara Raasch
Day Ten: Jessica Verdi
Day 11: Bethany Hagen
Day 12: Lindsay Cummings
Day 13: Bethany Neal
Day 14: Kristi Helvig
Day 15: Megan Whitmer
Day 16: Liz Czukas
Will be updated as it goes...

It's always fun to have a bunch of authors do guest posts and interviews on your blog during a certain period of time! It's always super fun to get to know more about our favorite authors and I've been seeing more of these kinds of features around, each with different authors and concepts. Looking forward to this :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you point out that we as readers owe something to authors. That's something that I think a lot of people forget or don't recognize. I personally find diving into the mind of authors to be pretty fascinating a lot of the time. Each novels' journey is different, which means what the author went through and their thoughts and experiences are all different. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind seeing a post again from Romily Bernard. I definitely wouldn't pass up a chance to get to know her more. Especially when she narrates from a amazing good teen voice :D And Kiersten White! I love her bubbly personality! OH! And Megan Shepherd please! ^_^
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea and fantastic giveaway!! I shall be reading each post with much interest and thank you x
