Christina Grimmie's second album dropped a month ago and I'm finally reviewing this song! YAY! I think the first time I listened to it, I cried. I'm going to start by talking about the lyrics/meaning. Not very many songs are both meaningful in words and  also in sound. I loved these words so much and how they matched so well with the tune. This song is basically about how you curse God when you need it. Like you only pray when you're in dire need for help. It's about people who are selfish and only think of themselves until something bad happens.

The song has very little drums because it's more about piano and it isn't angry. The mood of the song is more like pity or even trying to get someone to understand. I really love how the song builds from the slow beginning to the grand finish.

I'm actually sort of religious for my age so this song really affected me. If you don't believe in God, it doesn't matter. Think about the meaning even if the word "God" isn't used. Think about how you only realize you need help when it's too late or when there's nothing more you can do.
