I got a bookstore story that I'm really wanting to share!
I live in Toronto (well, a place really close to Toronto...) and I never knew that the world's largest bookstore was there. Can you believe that? You got a perfectly Gino-dinosaur-mous bookshop so how do you now know about it?? That's kind of how I felt.
So basically, my kickbutt librarian was managing my school's last bookfair, we started talking and she mentioned she was going to go to the World's Largest Bookstore on Friday. That caused me to go home and bother my parents constantly to let me go to the school.
So on Saturday, I finally went... on the condition that I wouldn't buy anything. Psh, my parents think I have the capability to not buy something in a bookstore... haha. I went to the "bargain books" section so I could buy something and not make my parents too mad. I wish I could've got a picture of all the bargain books! There was literally a WALL of bargain YA books and they were all hardcover ranging from 4 to 7 dollars!
So anything I've bought is from this bookstore and it was literally a magical adventure for a "booklion" (see this) like me.
ANYWAYYYYY.... TO THE HAUL (Or lack of... hehe)
STUFF I BOUGHT:
I can't believe I just bought Pushing the Limits! I had an ARC copy of PtL but now I've got it in paperback. I'm going to see Katie McGarry in July so I'm expecting the hug she promised for tweeting Noah like crazy in the YACrushTourney. The other books are also ones I've been DYING to read so I'm so excited... and the first two are in hardback... EEEEPPP!!
RECEIVED FOR REVIEW:
So this is what I've got! If I get something more, I'll be doing a video... I know how much you wanna see my face. I also wanna show you my bookshelf! I've got stupid arm length deep bookshelves so my books are covering each other! I gotta show you guys... Look at this random pic...
Yes, that is my white recorder on the top shelf! And it's a beaded BUNNY RABBIT on that second shelf. I just realized that I have so little books... *goes off to cry*
