You're right, everyone needs to have more respect for the authors' hard work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052411094920281911.post-67629882270075304442014-01-22T13:24:02.078-05:002014-01-22T13:24:02.078-05:00You know what would be a good way to scare people ...You know what would be a good way to scare people from pirating books? A threat of a computer virus that's what. That'll scare them off from downloading those files FOR SURE. ;D<br />And it'll help if we upload a virus onto it...just saying. :PKelly https://www.blogger.com/profile/16309188388542940162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052411094920281911.post-77955309097365004332014-01-20T10:12:58.727-05:002014-01-20T10:12:58.727-05:00Awesome, awesome post, Nova! Seriously. I don'...Awesome, awesome post, Nova! Seriously. I don't understand how people can think piracy and plagiarism are okay! It's just insane!!! I usually stay out of the Twitter drama when it happens, though. I'm very passionate about it, but I feel like these people are idiots and they think they're right, no matter what we say, so it's a waste of breath to argue with them. And two, you don't know what you're getting when you illegally download a book! It could have viruses and it could be an altered version of the real copy. I understand some people don't have access to the best libraries, but that's no excuse for stealing. Like if you wanna see the movie, go to the freaking theatres. It's much better anyway. Also, I can't believe people do this. I think the only way they will realize it is wrong is when this happens to them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052411094920281911.post-30712347916077529952014-01-17T10:24:52.362-05:002014-01-17T10:24:52.362-05:00Piracy is such a huge issue and what people don...Piracy is such a huge issue and what people don't get about libraries is that if it doesn't have the book you want to borrow you can file for them to either a) buy it or b) get it from another local library so you can borrow it as an inter-library loan. Seriously though an author makes less than a dollar per book that's sold so it's really hard for them to make a living even Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052411094920281911.post-55188397334134041512014-01-17T09:29:50.459-05:002014-01-17T09:29:50.459-05:00Can I just say amen?
